Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The codebase is a complete mess.
This was made back when I didn't know Go at all, and can likely be massively improved.
How? Good question.
